God has blessed the Institute with a new Chancellor in the person of Prof. Ablade Glover. Prof. Glover, becomes the second Chancellor of ACI, succeeding Prof. Emeritus J.H. Kwabena Nketia, of blessed memory. He is a retired Professor of Art, former Head of the Department of Art Education and Dean of the College of Art at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, and the founder of The Artists Alliance Gallery, located in La, Accra.
In attendance were the Rt. Rev. Prof. J.O.Y. Mante, Moderator, General Assembly, PCG, who administered the vows, Prof. Emeritus Andrew F. Walls, Most Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Asante, Chairman, Ghana Peace Council, and Rev. G.N.N. Odonkor, Clerk Elect, General Assembly, PCG.
